Mosque Yard

Welcome

Islam is the complete submission and obedience to Allah (God). The word Allah (God) in Islam does not mean Jesus as many Christians may infer.

Allah in Islam means:

  • One God who has no partner.
  • Nothing is like Him.
  • He is capable of doing everything.
  • There is no other god in the whole universe that deserves worship except Him.
  • He is the first and the last and the everlasting.
  • He is the All-knowing and Almighty.
  • He is the only one who is capable of granting life to anything.
  • He sent his messengers (peace be upon them) to guide mankind.
  • He sent Muhammad as the last prophet for all mankind.
  • His book is the Holy Qur'an, the only authentic book in the whole universe that has been kept without change
